Buiiding Character, Empowering Leaders & Developing Soccer Intelligence

 
Our philosophy behind these camps is threefold: first to expose players to the techniques and tactics that have helped the Lady Blue Devil Soccer players to become consistently some of the most competitive players in the state. Secondly, to expose young players to the wonderful role models that have played at the Westfield High School varsity level, collegiate level, and professional level. Finally we want all campers to enjoy themselves and to have fun.

CHARACTER BUILDING CAMP
Grades 2-4

We have chosen a curriculum that integrates a mixed-ability teaching approach.  For our youngest campers our focus is placed on age-appropriate fundamental skill development, general coordination and motor skill development, and helping develop a passion for the game. Players at this age will focus on the importance of Character Building as it applies to friends, family, school and soccer through a mixture of readings, discussions and activities.

EMPOWERING LEADERS CAMP
Grades 5-9

The focus of our Empowering Leaders camp is to teach our campers the ingredients it takes to be a leader on the field and a leader in life. Our campers get the best of both worlds: they learn soccer from some of the best alumni Westfield soccer has to offer and they are exposed to a multitude of leadership concepts they can cultivate for life. Players at this age will focus on what it takes to become a leader on the field, in the classroom, and with their peers.
