LBD Camp Testimonials

Parent 2009
Good morning Coach Schmidt!

I just wanted to take a quick moment to THANK YOU and your staff for a GREAT week of soccer camp for my incoming 7th grader.  My daughter is a good athlete, (despite her sore knees from growing too fast) but lacks confidence, which also adds to that lack of drive on the field.  Her lack of confidence I believe also makes her shut down and appear disinterested, which is FAR from the truth.  Your 7th grade counselors and those my daughter meets up with at the end of the day were AMAZING!  They made her feel like she CAN contribute something to a sport she loves and that just because she isn't on "travel," that's OK.

My daughter has come home exhausted and happy every day due to the enthusiasm of your staff and as a Mom, I am VERY grateful.  My daughter was ready to throw in the towel for soccer this fall, but now... she is ready to keep going!  Please pass along my thanks!

Coach Schmidt,

Thank you for creating this week of soccer.  It is an awesome opportunity for the girls. My daughter  is not an A team player  and , sometimes, there is a tendency to focus on the most talented players  in these circumstances.  This was so far from that type of experience.  Yet, there was an understanding of good soccer skills and competition.    My daughter enjoyed herself immensely, gained confidence, learned soccer skills and had fun.  We only wish there was another week!  thanks again.

I just wanted you to know how much my daughter enjoyed your camp this past week.  She has not stopped talking about it and immensely enjoyed working with the older girls who play for the lbd team.  She has been practicing her Mia Hamm drill and has already started thinking sbout how she hopes her soccer career will unfold upon entering WHS......  thanks again for a great week!

I wanted to provide you with feedback for the camp last week.  My daughter had a great time and only had positive comments about the camp.  Also she thought receiving an evaluation was awesome.  This gave her insight on what she needs to work on in the fall.  Katie and Martina were her coaches for the week and she just loved working with them.

Thank you again for taking time from your family to put together what I thought was an excellent soccer camp for our girls.

My daughter came home on Friday and asked me to sign her up today for next year's camp....I asked her why she liked the week so much and she said she REALLY liked her trainers - Robin and Julia...So kudos to you and to your team, and we will be signing up for next years camp, and spreading the word as well!
